Capilano Community Services Society's Youth Program accepts referrals for youth aged between 12-24 years of age. 

Their Youth Outreach Workers (YOWS) provide one-to-one support for a range of issues such as body image, peer relations, substance abuse, anxiety, and depression.

They accept referrals from schools, health practitioners, community organizations, parents and guardians, and self-referrals. Their catchment area includes: Lower and Upper Capilano, Pemberton, Pemberton Heights, and Norgate, but accommodations can be made if deemed appropriate. 

There is no charge for their services.

North Shore Neighbourhood House
145 West 1st Street, North Vancouver (located within John Braithwaite Community Centre)

North Shore Neighbourhood House youth outreach workers are trained to provide support, guidance and referrals in a non-judgmental way. Their goal is to make you feel safe, supported and respected.

Outreach workers can help you with:

• One-to-one support, temporary or ongoing
• Drug and alcohol education
• School problems
• Family issues
• Job and resume skills
• Providing advocacy and information
• Referrals to other services
• And lots more!

There is no charge for their services.

Parkgate Society’s youth outreach workers provide support and services by connecting with youth in the community, including at schools, coffee shops, our Parkgate skate park, and other local places.
