Discover & grow through play
NVRC operates three preschools. Our focus is on preparing your child for kindergarten in a positive learning environment that creates unforgettable memories, and builds self-confidence and life skills.
Inspired by BC’s Early Learning Framework, we see children as strong, capable and full of potential, and recognize the important role families play in children’s well-being and learning. Our preschools are led by early childhood educators and have a staff-to-child ratio of 1:10 with a limit of 20 children per class.
Philosophy
Our holistic approach and play-based program fosters children’s physical, emotional, social, creative and intellectual growth. It helps build a sense of wellbeing, belonging, and social responsibility. Based on children’s interests and curiosity for learning, activities encourage exploration and experimentation with a variety of materials. These experiences are designed to foster a deeper understanding of the world we live in. Come play with us in our welcoming and nurturing environment.
Preschool Open Houses
Visit our preschool open houses to tour the space, introduce your child to the preschool setting, meet the teachers and ask questions. Open houses are held in January and February each year. Check back in late 2024 for 2025 open house dates.
Handbook and enrollment forms
The NVRC licensed preschool handbook and enrollment forms are available here. The handbook provides important information regarding policies and procedures, and gives and overview on what to expect while attending an NVRC preschool.
