• Pickleball cancellation notification system (pilot project)

  To help increase access to in-demand pickleball book-a-visit and book-a-court spots, we have created a cancellation notification system to let customers know when spots become available. This is currently a pilot project for pickleball bookings. 

  How to subscribe to the email notification list
  Our IT team has created a customized solution that allows customers to subscribe to an email notification list. Instructions on how to subscribe to the email list:

  1. Login to nvrc.perfectmind.com
  2. Click on ‘My Info’ at the top of the page (If you are the primary account member of a family, you will need to pick which account member you want to view after pressing the ‘My Info’ button).
  3. At the top of the page, click on the purple ‘Edit’ button.
  4. Scroll down the page until you see the ‘Mailing Lists’ section.
  5. Toggle the switch beside ‘Pickleball Email Notifications’.
  6. Press the purple ‘Save’ button to save the changes.

  Customers can also get added to the list by calling our call centre at 604-987-7529 or visiting a front desk at any recreation facility.

  If you have ever unsubscribed from one of NVRC’s email newsletters in the past, the email notification system may not allow you to receive emails from NVRC. If you have or think you may have unsubscribed, but would like to receive the pickleball notification emails, please use this link to our email newsletter tool and re-enter your name and email to allow you to receive emails from us. You can update your preferences to remove yourself from any newsletters you do not want, but will continue to receive pickleball cancellation notifications.

  How notification works
  When a pickleball spot or court becomes open, everyone on the list will receive an email notification of the availability. Registration for that spot or court will be on a first-come-first-served basis.

  Please cancel if you can’t use your spot
  If you can’t make your pre-booked visit, please cancel so others can sign-up for the spot. You can cancel your visit in your account, or use the online cancellation request form, or by call our call centre at 604-987-7529.

How to book a racquet sport visit or book a court

• Indoor pickleball court booking

  Indoor pickleball court bookings can be done online or by calling 604-987-7529.

  Court bookings begin at 7am on Tuesday for the following week. 

• Badminton court booking

  Badminton court bookings can be done online or by calling 604-987-7529.

  Court bookings begin at 7am on Tuesday for the following week. 

• Squash & racquetball court bookings

  Squash/racquetball court bookings must be done in advance online or by calling 604-987-7529.

  Squash/racquetball court bookings open at 7am on Tuesday for the following week.

  Bookings are 45 minutes each.

  Only squash and racquetball are permitted on the court, no other sports are permitted.

  One court booking per day, per person. If two players wish to book back-to-back courts, they can do so by having each individual book one time slot each. If there is a high demand for courts, limits on court bookings may be implemented.

  All squash/racquetball players must be 8 years and older. Children 8-14 years must be accompanied by a guardian who is 15 years or older. Goggles are mandatory for players 16 years and under. Players are required to bring their own equipment; however, the front desk may have equipment you can borrow. • Indoor tennis court bookings

  Indoor courts at the North Vancouver Tennis Centre can be booked for play by calling 604-983-6483.  

  24-hour court bookings

  You are now able to book our 24-hour courts online.  One court is reserved throughout the day as a '24-hour court’. This court is not available for seven-day advanced booking and is only able to be booked 24 hours in advance by Booking Card holders and non-card-holders alike.  View the available times and book your court online.

  A tennis booking card is required for advanced bookings of more than 24 hours in advance. Courts booked less than 24 hours in advance are non-refundable.

• Table tennis booking

  Table tennis bookings can be done online or by calling 604-987-7529.

  Court bookings begin at 7am on Tuesday for the following week.
